The following is a list of my favourite addons, which I have installed on all my computers, ordered according to the categories found on the Official Firefox Addons page.
Firefox is my browser of choice, not only because it is fast and secure, but mostly because of the vast collection of addons, which allow me turn my browser into a multi-purpose tool.
The Japanese Firefox community has developed a new mascot, and set up its own site.
I can see where the inspiration comes from (Manga cult), but the execution is laughable. The one displayed in the top right hand corner of the site, looks like a hamster on fire, who thinks a hard hat turns it into a fire fighter. While most of the other images look like a mongrel farting flames.
My harsh judgement isn't due to me being tired of the manga fashion. While the whole mascot is very simple, in contrasting block colours, the fire suddenly sports fading colours, a gradient of red and yellow. And then there is the heavy black outline, totally absent from the fire-tail, making it seem detached, and why I'm perceiving the stink of fiery farts.

Quite a downgrade from the great work done by Jon Hicks, which resulted in the current Firefox logo and branding.
