My Mum wasn't too happy that I had forgotten, that today had been the 8'th of March - International Women's Day. Ever since I told her, that in former East Germany school kids use to give their female teachers flowers on this day, she takes this day very serious. So I thought I create a little banner for my blog.
You can learn more about the International Women's Day at the IWD's dedicated site, or on a dedicated site published by the UN, which this year is titled "Ending Impunity For Violence Against Women And Girls".
