Decent virus protection software will prevent an infection, as this is how I became aware of the threat.</em></big></p> <p>For Windows-users I can highly recommend <a href="http://www.clamwin.com/">ClamWin</a> or <a href="http://free.grisoft.com/doc/downloads-products/us/frt/0?prd=aff">AVG</a>, for those interested.</p> <p>Also having JavaScript disabled by default helps, but most users don't like the "inconvenience" of taking precautions when browsing the web.
